WPC Co-extruded Wavy Wall Cladding 219 x 26 mm (2.85 kg/m) is the widest board in the range, the only fully capped board we make, and the lightest wavy board per square metre. At 219 mm it covers a square metre with only 4.57 m of board — 3.7% less than a 211 mm board, 23% less than 168 mm and more than a third less than a standard 140 mm — and joints fall by the same proportion, so a large elevation is broken up the fewest times of any board we make and reads as one continuous finished surface. At 2.85 kg per meter it works out at about 13.0 kg of board per square metre, 13.1% lighter than the 211 x 28 mm — the lightest wavy board we make — so on large facades, high-level elevations and over-cladding work you spend the least material and put the least load on the fixings.

Description
WPC cladding goes straight over existing tiles or painted render: no strip-out, no strengthening of the wall. Fit the battens, hang the boards, and an old wall is transformed in two or three days. The material itself takes in no water, so it will not rot, split, host insects or grow mould; it never needs paint or wax; and a UV-stabilised formula keeps the colour from bleaching year after year. The board is a thin-wall hollow section weighing around half what a solid board would, so one person can lift it into position and fix it, battens do not need closing up, the wall needs no strengthening and working at height is safer. The hollow chambers add two bonuses - thermal insulation and sound insulation. It works on building facades, balcony and terrace walls, shopfronts and sign backing boards, boxing in columns and services, and as a decorative finish on garden boundary walls; it also suits semi-outdoor spaces such as sunrooms and verandas. Board widths run mainly from 140 to 156 mm, and the wider the face the fewer the joints, so the wall reads as one continuous surface.
